Welcome to Reading Recovery

Reading Recovery is a one to one intervention program for specific children in Year One who are having difficulty learning to read and write. Children selected for the program have their classroom literacy program supplemented with daily thirty minute lessons by a trained Reading Recovery teacher.

The lessons consist of a variety of reading and writing experiences designed to help develop effective reading and writing strategies. The lessons are fun and individually designed to allow each child to achieve success at his/her level. Remarkable progress is made by most children who participate in the Reading Recovery Program.
